Chevy Chase House Named Best of Senior Living All-Star by A Place for Mom
Based on the reviews of residents and families, Chevy Chase House was recognized by A Place for Mom as a 2025 Best of Senior Living All Star Community!
My mom entered Chevy Chase House in the Fall of 2021. After brief experiences in several nursing homes throughout the DC and Maryland vicinity we found Chevy Chase House to be ideal. The combination of the location (walkable restaurants, nail salons, convenience stores, grocery stores, movie theater, etc.) in house amenities, including exercise programs, social hour, and live entertainment made Chevy Chase House the perfect place. There is always something to do in side or out in the community.

My friend realized that living in a house alone was no longer comfortable or safe. After visiting a number of facilities, Chevy Chase House felt like the right match. The Marketing Director couldn't have been nicer and welcoming. She guided us through getting all the paperwork completed for a timely move in. The Resident Relations Coordinator was also so kind and accommodating. The apartment is spacious and housekeeping comes in to clean on a regular basis. Three meals per day are served in a dining room with open seating. The food is quite good and guests are welcoming.

Excellent location, clean, however menu and food options gives this place several steps above others. White table cloth nice touch, love the grill and outside table. Food is priority for seniors like me and will be my deciding factor. Well rounded facility from activities , entertainment, proximity to Rodman's, CVS, church. Relatives visiting will not get bored.
